Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What makes your Wedding and Portrait photos different?

A: We strive to make our photos have the instant "Pop" and "Wow" effect that are sure to bring a smile to those who view them.  We not only do the standard family poses, but we also incorporate a photojournalistic style, that captures the story of your wedding, from the start to the finish.

We also pay attention to the fine details (decorations, flowers, dress/suits, cake, rings, etc) that you have worked so hard to incorporate into your wedding.  We are sure to take photos of these magnificent details.

Q: What do you mean by having a "Pop" and "Wow" effect in your photos?

A:  We achieve our unique photo style by both using our tried and true method of shooting techniques and with our professional equipment.

Q: Why is it important to have two photographers shooting our wedding?

A: Having two photographers throughout your day will make it possible to capture your wedding from more than one angle and perspective, at any given moment.  This is especially true during the time when vows are said.

For example, if you have only one photographer, either the Groom or Bride will be photographed from only the back or side of their body, since obviously one photographer cannot be at two opposite locations at the same time.

Q: Will we have a fun time with you taking our photos?

A: Yes!  We always try to make your entire wedding party feel at ease, while having a great time as everyone enjoys your special day! Since all wedding packages include an in-person consultation meeting and a separate site visit with the Bride and Groom, we will not be strangers who you will meet for the first time during your wedding.

Q: What if something goes wrong with your camera equipment?

A: Dependability is what we strive for.  We have backups for all of our gear and this greatly minimizes the chance of something going wrong.  In addition, we only use up to date camera bodies, lenses, and flashes, all originally brought new.  We maintain our equipment by only using the manufacturer's factory service and cleaning when needed.

Q: What if we need more hours then what was contracted?

A:  At the end of your contracted time, if you feel that you need more photography time, we are happy to stay.  We will charge our additional per hour rates and will invoice you the additional fee.  The additional fee must be paid before your DVD is released.

Q: What is the time frame to get our photos?

A: We aim to send your DVD of all useable high resolution images 4-6 weeks after your wedding.

Q: Your website pictures have your watermark on them.  Will our photos have the watermark on them?

A: All photos that you receive will not be watermarked.

Q: Do we get all the useable photos and a copyright release with our images?

A:  Yes, most definitely!  You will receive a DVD of all useable images in high resolution jpg format.  We do not believe in selling your photos one by one.  Your "copyright release" will allow you to print, share, and use the given images for any purpose that you desire.  We do however, retain the original artist copyright for the images and may on occasion use them for professional review, competition, advertising, teaching, etc.

Q: Do you offer videography?

A: No, we only specialize in Wedding and Portrait photos.

Q:  What is your payment schedule?

A:  For weddings, we require a 50% non-refundable deposit, which allows your date to be secured.  This is on a first come, first served basis.  The final 50% payment must be received one month before your wedding date.

For Portraits, we require full payment anytime prior to your session date/time.

Q: What if we have more questions?

A: Please feel free to contact us either by email or phone and we will be happy to answer any questions that you may have.
